Modern 42 Wins BeyondTrust Partner of the Year for Technical Excellence, Two Years Running

Modern 42 has been named BeyondTrust Partner of the Year for Technical Excellence for 2025-2026. It is the second year in a row we have received the award, following our 2024-2025 Technical Excellence win, which makes Modern 42 the BeyondTrust Technical Excellence award winner for both 2024-2025 and 2025-2026.

Two years of Technical Excellence

Our first Technical Excellence award was presented at BeyondTrust's PartnerTrust Live event in Melbourne. It recognised our investment in BeyondTrust technical capability and the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) for implementation customer satisfaction among all Australia and New Zealand partners.

Winning a second time matters more to us than the first. One award can reflect a strong year. Two in a row means the way we deliver BeyondTrust is holding up across a growing number of customers, environments and engineers.

What has changed since the first award

In November 2025, Modern 42 became the first BeyondTrust Advanced Implementation Partner in Australia. That status recognises a partner's ability to configure the complete BeyondTrust product suite.

Over the same period our BeyondTrust work has covered:

  • Password Safe for privileged credential vaulting, rotation and session management.
  • Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) to remove local admin rights without stopping people from working.
  • Privileged Remote Access (PRA) for vendor and administrator access without VPNs or shared accounts.
  • Migrations from CyberArk and Delinea to BeyondTrust, planned so that privileged access keeps working during cutover.
  • BeyondTrust assessments that review existing deployments against enterprise best practice.

The people behind it

This award belongs to our engineers. BeyondTrust deployments succeed or fail on the detail, from how a vault is structured and how rotation handles a fragile service account, to how an EPM policy treats the one application a finance team cannot live without. Our team does that work carefully, documents it, and stays with customers after go-live.

We also want to thank our customers for trusting us with their most sensitive access, and the BeyondTrust team in Australia for their continued partnership.

Working with Modern 42 on BeyondTrust

Modern 42 is a 100% Australian-owned identity and privileged access consultancy based in Canberra, with security-cleared engineers delivering across government, banking, healthcare and enterprise. We design, implement, operate and migrate BeyondTrust environments as part of our privileged access management service.

If you are planning a new BeyondTrust deployment, or want an independent view of the one you already run, book a 30-minute discussion with our team.
