Modern 42 is a Canberra-headquartered Microsoft 365 Cloud Solution Provider. We supply your licences and back every subscription with the security depth most resellers lack, so you buy the right plan and actually use the protection inside it.
Most Microsoft 365 resellers send you an invoice and little else. Modern 42 is different: we are a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with an Identity and Access Management specialisation, with AGSVA-cleared engineers and more than 100 IAM and PAM projects behind us. When we sell you Microsoft 365, the people behind the licence understand Entra ID, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management, not just the price list.
Canberra also carries some of the country's most demanding security expectations. Commonwealth and ACT bodies work to the Protective Security Policy Framework and the ASD Essential Eight, Defence-industry suppliers carry DISP obligations, and government remains among the most targeted sectors for state-linked cyber activity. That makes the Microsoft 365 tier you buy a security decision as much as a procurement one, because it sets which identity and threat-protection controls are even available to meet those obligations.
Getting that tier right is also a budget decision, and we right-size rather than upsell. We look at how your people actually work, the obligations you carry, and the licences you already hold, then recommend the Microsoft 365 mix that fits your organisation, not the longest invoice. That can mean different plans for different roles, retiring licences you no longer use, or adding only the specific add-ons and Copilot seats you genuinely need.

Canberra organisations buying through Modern 42 get an Australian-owned, identity-specialist team behind every subscription.
Modern 42 is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with a specialisation in Identity and Access Management, and an ECIF-approved partner. The team behind your licences understands Entra ID, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.
Not a subsidiary, franchise or local arm of an overseas firm. Modern 42 is wholly Australian-owned and headquartered in Canberra, with AGSVA-cleared engineers and sovereign delivery.
Our office is at Office 1, Level 4, 1 Moore Street, Canberra ACT 2601, in the CBD and walking distance to most departmental offices. Licensing reviews and onboarding are run by our Canberra-based team.

Microsoft has confirmed Microsoft 365 price increases from 1 July 2026 on Business Basic, Business Standard, Office 365 E3, and Microsoft 365 F3, E3 and E5. Business Premium and Office 365 E1 are not changing. The new price applies at your next renewal after 1 July, so renewing before 30 June can lock current pricing for your term.

Canberra Microsoft 365 buyers outside the whole-of-government arrangement span territory government, the Defence-industry base and the commercial firms that serve them. As a CSP and security service provider, we serve a wide range of organisations across all of these.
Microsoft 365 licensing for territory bodies outside the Commonwealth whole-of-government arrangement, with sovereign, Australian-owned delivery.
Licensing for Defence-industry and DISP-registered organisations that need a security-conscious, AGSVA-cleared partner behind their tenant.
Add-on and Copilot SKUs, and tenant-level licensing for entities that procure outside the core panel.
Right-sized Microsoft 365 plans for accounting, legal, consulting and not-for-profit organisations across the ACT.
Identity and security are how Modern 42 got here, but the same engineers deliver the workloads your people actually live in — Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Intune and Active Directory — and the automation that keeps them flowing. One platform. One accountable delivery team.
Where work happens
Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Copilot migrated, governed and rolled out with adoption support — not just a tenant handover.
Every device, current
Intune, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business and app protection — zero-touch enrolment, drift detection and BYOD that is actually safe.
The front door, hardened
Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management — built for the identity model your business actually has.
Threat & data protection
Defender XDR, Purview, sensitivity labels and DLP switched on past the defaults — the security capability that came with the licence, actually deployed.
We map licence selection to the workloads your business actually needs, then deploy with code — Bicep, Microsoft Graph PowerShell and DevOps pipelines. The next change is a pull request, not a runbook, and Sharepoint, Exchange and Intune scale without becoming brittle.
