Why Newcastle

A Microsoft 365 CSP that configures what it sells.

Newcastle and the Hunter have plenty of capable IT providers, but very few that pair Microsoft 365 licensing with genuine security depth. Modern 42 is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with an Identity and Access Management specialisation and more than 100 IAM and PAM projects nationally. You get competitive licensing and a partner that understands Entra ID, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.

Hunter-region councils, healthcare and NDIS providers, universities, and energy and industrial operators all carry growing cyber obligations. We help you lock in value ahead of the 1 July 2026 price changes and configure the security you are already paying for. Our consultants travel to Newcastle for workshops, so you get a national specialist without losing local access.

We also right-size your licensing rather than default you to the most expensive plan. We look at how your team actually works, the privacy and cyber obligations you carry, and what you are already paying for, then recommend the Microsoft 365 mix that fits, whether that is Business Standard, Business Premium, or different tiers across the organisation.

Microsoft 365 price increase, 1 July 2026

Renew before 30 June to lock in current pricing.

Microsoft has confirmed Microsoft 365 price increases from 1 July 2026 on Business Basic, Business Standard, Office 365 E3, and Microsoft 365 F3, E3 and E5. Business Premium and Office 365 E1 are not changing. The new price applies at your next renewal after 1 July, so renewing before 30 June can lock current pricing for your term.

FAQ

Microsoft 365 CSP in Newcastle

Common questions from Newcastle and Hunter-region organisations buying or switching Microsoft 365 licensing.

Yes. We help you find the right-sized Microsoft 365 plan rather than defaulting to the most expensive one. We look at how your team actually works, the privacy and cyber obligations you carry, and what you are already paying for, then recommend the plan mix that fits, whether that is Business Standard, Business Premium, or a mix of tiers across your organisation. Our pricing calculator lets you compare options, and a short review confirms the right choice before you commit.
A Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) is the partner authorised to sell you Microsoft 365 licences and bill you for them. The partner you choose can either just process the invoice, or actively help you pick the right plan, configure the security inside it and review your spend over time. Modern 42 is the second kind, with the security credentials to back it.
Microsoft confirmed increases from 1 July 2026 for several plans, with Business Premium and Office 365 E1 held flat. The new price applies at your next renewal after 1 July, so renewing before 30 June can lock current pricing for your term. We run a quick pre-renewal review so you do not pay more than you need to.
Business Standard gives you the Office apps, email and Teams. Business Premium adds the security and device-management stack: Entra ID P1 and Conditional Access, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Business and for Office 365. With Business Premium held flat in the July 2026 changes while Business Standard rises, the gap is narrowing, and for most organisations with growing cyber obligations Business Premium is the better value.
Yes. Privacy obligations and NDIS practice standards mean these organisations need to demonstrate they are protecting client data. The right Microsoft 365 plan provides the data protection and access controls to do that, but only if it is configured. We help with both the licence and the configuration.
The Commonwealth whole-of-government Microsoft arrangement covers Commonwealth agencies. Local government councils are a separate level of government and procure their own Microsoft 365 licensing, typically through a CSP or tender. Modern 42 can supply and support that licensing.
Yes. Switching CSP partner does not move your Microsoft 365 tenant or data; only the billing relationship and delegated administration change, and users stay licensed throughout. See our guide on how to switch your Microsoft CSP partner for the full process.
