Modern 42 is a Microsoft 365 Cloud Solution Provider serving Sydney. We supply licences and pair them with security-specialist depth, so APRA-regulated and ASX-listed organisations buy the right plan and can evidence the controls behind it.
Sydney's Microsoft 365 market is crowded with commodity resellers. Modern 42 competes on depth, not just price: we are a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with an Identity and Access Management specialisation, and two of the top 10 ASX-listed organisations are clients of our identity practice.
Sydney also concentrates both the regulation and the risk. APRA-regulated banks, insurers and super funds answer to CPS 234 and CPS 230, critical-infrastructure operators fall under the SOCI Act, and financial services remain a leading target for ransomware and identity-based attack. For these organisations the Microsoft 365 plan they choose determines which Entra ID, Defender and Purview controls can be switched on to evidence those obligations, so licensing and security posture cannot be treated as separate problems.
It also means we right-size your licensing rather than upsell it. We review how your teams operate, the obligations you answer to, and the subscriptions you already pay for, then recommend the Microsoft 365 mix that matches your organisation, often a blend of tiers across different roles, consolidated overlapping plans, or trimmed seats you are no longer using.

Sydney organisations buying through Modern 42 get an Australian-owned, identity-specialist team behind every subscription.
Modern 42 is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with a specialisation in Identity and Access Management, and an ECIF-approved partner. The team behind your licences understands Entra ID, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.
Not a subsidiary, franchise or local arm of an overseas firm. Modern 42 is wholly Australian-owned and headquartered in Canberra, with AGSVA-cleared engineers and sovereign delivery.
Modern 42 runs a large hybrid workforce. Licensing and onboarding are handled by our Australian team.

A licence audit before you renew finds ghost accounts, wrong-tier users and redundant add-ons, and times your renewal around the 1 July 2026 price changes.
Most buyers pay for security they never switch on. We map your plan to the Essential Eight and show what you already have.
We do not just sell the licence. We configure Entra ID, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management through our Sydney IAM consulting team.
Microsoft has confirmed Microsoft 365 price increases from 1 July 2026 on Business Basic, Business Standard, Office 365 E3, and Microsoft 365 F3, E3 and E5. Business Premium and Office 365 E1 are not changing. The new price applies at your next renewal after 1 July, so renewing before 30 June can lock current pricing for your term.

Sydney's economy is dominated by financial services, insurance, professional services and a deep enterprise and technology base. As a Microsoft 365 CSP and security service provider, we serve organisations right across them.
Microsoft 365 licensing aligned to APRA CPS 234 and CPS 230, with the identity and security evidence your auditors expect.
Right-sized E3, E5 and Business Premium plans, with Conditional Access and governance configured to match.
Licensing at scale with plan rationalisation ahead of the 1 July 2026 changes, and Copilot readiness done properly.
Licensing for law, accounting and consulting firms and fast-growing technology companies moving off direct or legacy agreements.
Identity and security are how Modern 42 got here, but the same engineers deliver the workloads your people actually live in — Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Intune and Active Directory — and the automation that keeps them flowing. One platform. One accountable delivery team.
Where work happens
Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Copilot migrated, governed and rolled out with adoption support — not just a tenant handover.
Every device, current
Intune, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business and app protection — zero-touch enrolment, drift detection and BYOD that is actually safe.
The front door, hardened
Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra Connect, Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management — built for the identity model your business actually has.
Threat & data protection
Defender XDR, Purview, sensitivity labels and DLP switched on past the defaults — the security capability that came with the licence, actually deployed.
We map licence selection to the workloads your business actually needs, then deploy with code — Bicep, Microsoft Graph PowerShell and DevOps pipelines. The next change is a pull request, not a runbook, and Sharepoint, Exchange and Intune scale without becoming brittle.
